Frequently asked questions

Before choosing your preparation.

Another question?

Ask a coach specialising in consulting or M&A directly, with no commitment or obligation to buy.

What exactly do I receive from the free review?

An indicative score out of 100, a comparison of up to three targets, an assessment by skill and a six-week action plan. A preview appears immediately; the full report is displayed and sent to you after you provide your contact details. A PDF CV is required, analysed in memory and never retained. This review helps prioritise your work; it does not predict a hiring decision.

What is the difference between the consulting and M&A tracks?

Consulting preparation covers structuring, case maths, charts, synthesis, fit and PEI. M&A covers accounting, valuation, DCF, LBOs, deal discussion and fit. Sessions are one to one in both tracks, but the exercises and feedback criteria are different.

What happens during and after a session?

Each session has a specific goal: a full case, a targeted exercise, technical questions, fit or a mock interview round. You then receive written feedback on each area, corrections to apply and a priority before the next session. The aim is to make sure the same mistakes do not recur, rather than accumulate hours.

Who will my coach be, and how does matching work?

Matching takes place after the introductory call, based on your track, target firms, level and deadline. You see the proposed coach’s profile and relevant experience before committing, so you can check that they know the type of assessment you are preparing for.

Which package should I choose if my interview is soon?

One or two weeks before an interview, the priority is to address the biggest risks and rehearse the imminent rounds. With one or two months, preparation can cover more fundamentals and several recruitment processes. The review and introductory call help determine whether five, fifteen or forty sessions make sense; the most expensive package is not automatically the most useful.

How much does it cost, and is funding available?

The review is free. Preparation starts at €1,000 for 5 sessions, €2,300 for 15 sessions and €3,900 for 40 sessions. Prices include VAT and no payment is taken directly on the website: the scope and quote are confirmed during the introductory call. Funding may be available depending on your situation; eligibility must be checked first.

Do you guarantee an offer at the end?

No. Be cautious of anyone who promises one: no credible coaching provider can guarantee a job. PrepCareer commits to diligent support and rigorous work on the factors you can actually improve.
